GALAXY :

                   A galaxy is stellar remnants,interstellar gas,dust and dark matters a gravitationally bound system of stars

GALAXY CLUSTERS :

                  Clusters of galaxies, and clusters of clusters of galaxies, called superclusters, make up the structures in the geography of the universe. ... Galaxies are titanic swarms of tens of millions to trillions of stars.

Now lets see about some galaxies......

IC1101 GALAXY :

             This is the largest galaxy ever found in the universe…THIS is a elliptical galaxy and centre in abell 2029 galaxy clust

 It has a total of 100 trillion stars.and located in 320 megaparasc which is 1.04 billion light year.the galaxy was found in 19 June 1790 by british astronomer William herschell.

                                               

ANDROMEDA GALAXY :

                 Andromeda galaxy which is known as Andromeda nebula is approximately  2.5 million light years away from earth.

                The virial mass of the Andromeda Galaxy is of the same order of magnitude as that of the Milky Way.

            

                            Around the year 964 ,the  Persian     astronomer  Abd al-Rahman al-Sufi was the first to formally describe the Andromeda Galaxy. He referred to it in his Book of Fixed Stars as a "nebulous smear" or "small cloud".
